In an effort to be fair to all classes, this year we are going to have the actual tests on Saturday's however we will have the awards ceremony and presentation on the following Friday. This way we will not have to cancel classes two Saturday's in a row. The new schedule for the end of 2009 and 2010 is as follows.

• Testing on Saturday December 5th  - Awards Ceremony And Presentation Friday December 11th
• Testing on Saturday February 20th - Awards Ceremony And Presentation Friday Feburary 26th
• Testing on Saturday May 1st - Awards Ceremony And Presentation Friday May 7th
• Testing on Saturday July 17th - Awards Ceremony And Presentation Friday July 23rd
• Testing on Saturday October 2nd - Awards Ceremony And Presentation Friday October 8th

Located in Oxford Connecticut, Mike Ziniak's Academy teaches the art of Tae Kwon Do, the official Olympics martial arts. We are a full-time school open six (6) days a week. Classes are available Monday through Saturday for Tae Kwon Do. We also offer Yoga, taught by a first-class instructor, 3 times a week including Sunday morning.
At our school, belts are earned and never bought or given away. The belt rank system is an award system. The student must earn the belt to display around their waist to indicate to others how long they have been involved in Tae Kwon Do. Each student MUST TEST in order to achieve rank. The standards are high and so when a student earns a new belt, they know they truly earned it. Offering classes in different categories, there is a place for everyone here. From the 3 to 5 year old student to the adult student, the classes at the Academy will fit your needs. Whether you are looking to instill discipline in your children, looking to get in shape yourself and/or wanting to learn how to defend yourself in an elevator or anywhere else, you will find what you are searching for at the Academy.
